Philosofy
Bii Daüü bases its philosophy on Zapotec history and identity to develop a modal of balanced life where the family is considered the principal nucleus of organization and education. In the same manner, the community participates by sharing the work amongst themselves with an observance of the goodness of the natural world and a conscience for good use of its abundance.
Bii Dauu is organized with the idea of a shared community economy, taking into account the equal distribution of benefits and development of responsible use of natural resources and alternative technologies. This is all done in a conscious communal effort to promote conservation.
As a business, the group decision making process is vital. Each member is recognized and respected for his or her ideas. The exchange of experience, skills and knowledge among members as well as with people of other like organizations strengthens the fulfillment of its objectives.
