Weaving
To create their textiles, the associates of Bii Dauu use a pedal loom, distaff, shuttle and, mallas, together with combs especially adjusted to achieve the quality desired by the artists. The members of Bii Dauu are constantly exchanging knowledge and skills, and being updated with new weaving techniques to improve the quality of their products. They also explore new methods of textile arts, making adjustments to their looms to get the greatest number of threads per inch in their weave, resulting in tapestries with much more detailed designs.
Bii Dauu produces various textile products such as: throw rugs, tapestries, blankets, shawls, scarves, other assorted clothing items, and bags.
